Meet ADRC’s Visionary Board Secretary: How Jessica Branning Is Transforming Alzheimer’s and Dementia Space
Jessica Branning is many things — the founder and CEO of ClinCloud Clinical Trials, the founder and strategic advisor of My Memory Clinic, and the new Board Secretary for the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Resource Center. But first and foremost, she is a visionary.
She is building an ecosystem that serves both those navigating dementia-related diseases and their Care Partners — a space that elevates standard of care best practices and brightens the horizon for those walking this path.
Branning was working in clinical research at a company that specializes in Alzheimer’s Disease when she was introduced to ADRC and its mission to support Care Partners.
That ADRC partnership inspired Branning’s ClinCloud, a business built on research that would develop the supportive ecosystem she envisioned.
Branning’s first patient was a woman who received an Alzheimer’s diagnosis when she was 48 years old. She arrived at ClinCloud six years after that discovery, accompanied by her husband — 54 years old and still working full time.
Branning built systems around that couple, bringing in mental health counseling — a service that now comes standard for newly diagnosed ClinCloud patients and their caregivers.
She also began collaborating with Elder Affair attorneys so that families had access to resources they’d need at the various milestones along the way.
She wanted to involve doctors specializing in memory loss, and that desire prompted a new business — My Memory Clinic, which is a virtual clinic specializing in diagnosing and treating people with Alzheimer’s and related disorders.
Branning stresses that all adults over 50 should get a baseline memory assessment done so that if they do notice cognitive decline over time, they’ll know where they started.
In 2022, Branning joined the ADRC Board of Directors and is now the Board Secretary.
“I am reinvigorated and reinspired by the mission of ADRC and the team that’s around us. We want to make sure that ADRC is not a best-kept secret,” she said. “Central Florida has some really incredible leadership and some really passionate people who are here to support you. ADRC is one of the best places to go and they can help find additional resources to help you, to support you.”
